Chrome/Browser Extension Developer

As a Chrome/Browser Extension Developer at Entalogics, you will be responsible for: - Develop and maintain Chrome and browser extensions - Build cross-browser compatible extensions (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) - Implement extension features using Chrome APIs and WebExtensions API - Design and develop extension UI/UX components - Integrate extensions with backend services and APIs - Optimize extension performance and ensure smooth user experience - Test extensions across different browsers and versions - Handle extension store submissions and updates - Debug and fix extension issues - Collaborate with our team to understand requirements and deliver solutions To be successful in this Chrome/Browser Extension Developer role, you should have: - 3+ years of experience in browser extension development - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML/CSS - Deep understanding of Chrome Extension APIs and WebExtensions API - Experience with manifest.json (Manifest V2 and V3) - Knowledge of browser extension architecture and best practices - Experience with content scripts, background scripts, and popup development - Understanding of browser storage APIs (chrome.storage, IndexedDB) - Experience with extension permissions and security best practices - Familiarity with extension store submission processes - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Bonus points for: - Experience with cross-browser extension development - Knowledge of React or Vue.js for extension UI - Experience with extension analytics and monitoring - Understanding of browser extension monetization - Previous experience with extension store optimization - Knowledge of WebAssembly in browser extensions - Experience with automated testing for extensions What we offer: - Remote work flexibility - Collaborative team environment - Opportunity to work on innovative browser extension projects - Professional development opportunities - Flexible working hours - Access to latest browser development tools
