Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
Who's behind this
These terms are between you and Aleš Kancilija s.p., Cesta XIV. divizije 20A, 2000 Maribor, Slovenia (registration number: 8453454000, VAT ID: SI 97635057) — the person running WebExtJobs.dev. I'll call myself "I" from here on.
WebExtJobs.dev is a niche job board for browser extension development roles. It lists jobs from two sources: community listings I aggregate from other job boards, and listings posted directly on the site by employers.
WebExtJobs.dev is a B2B service. Employers use it in their professional capacity to reach developers who build browser extensions. Developers browse and apply for free — no account needed.
This document covers everyone who uses the site. It's split into four sections: developers (the job seeker), employers (companies or employment agencies posting roles), data use and syndication (for aggregators and AI services), and common terms that apply to everyone.
For Developers
Listings on the site
You'll find three types of listings on WebExtJobs.dev:
- Featured listings — the most detailed. Full description, company branding, salary info, tech stack, direct apply link, and more.
- Free listings — posted by employers with limited details. Plain text description, basic info, and an apply link.
- Community listings — aggregated from other job boards. These show a summary and link you to the original listing on the source site to apply.
All listings are provided as-is. Employers manage their own listing content. Community listings come from third-party sources — I display them with attribution but don't control or verify their content. Always verify the employer before applying or sharing personal information.
What gets tracked
Every listing tracks page views and apply button clicks. This helps me understand how the site is used and helps employers see how their listings perform. I don't track you personally — I count events, not people. More details in the Privacy Policy.
WebExtJobs.dev uses Fathom Analytics to understand overall site usage. Fathom is privacy-focused — no cookies, no personal data, no cross-site tracking.
Newsletter
You can subscribe to the weekly newsletter to get new and open roles delivered to your inbox every Tuesday. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email.
Reporting listings
If a listing looks misleading, fraudulent, expired, or otherwise wrong, use the "Report this listing" link on any job detail page. I review all reports.
User conduct
By using WebExtJobs.dev, you agree not to:
- Scrape or automatically extract data beyond what's provided via the public RSS feed
- Submit false or misleading information
- Interfere with the site's operation
- Use the site for anything unlawful
Not a recruiter
WebExtJobs.dev is a job listing website. I'm not a recruiter, staffing agency, or employer. I don't vet companies, verify job offers, or mediate disputes between you and employers.
For Employers
Listing types
WebExtJobs.dev has three listing types. Here's what each one means for you:
Community listings
I aggregate job listings from other sites and display them on WebExtJobs.dev as community listings. Only I can create these — you can't post one yourself.
If a community listing belongs to your company, you can claim it from your dashboard. WebExtJobs.dev matches your company email domain against the listing. Once claimed, it becomes a free listing under your account — hosted directly on WebExtJobs.dev instead of redirecting to the original source. Claiming is free and instant.
Free listings
Free listings cost nothing. You get a job title, plain text description (up to 3,000 characters), company name, location, employment type, and an application link. Free listings stay active until you archive them.
Free listings are hosted directly on WebExtJobs.dev, included in the RSS feed, exposed to AI services for discoverability, and may occasionally be included in the newsletter.
Featured listings
Featured listings give you maximum exposure and the best presentation. On top of everything in a free listing, you get:
- Rich HTML description (bold, lists, links — no character limit)
- Company logo and branding
- Salary range display
- Skills and tech stack tags
- Priority placement in browse and search
- Direct apply link (candidates apply straight from the listing)
- Listing analytics (views and apply clicks, 30-day rolling window)
- Inclusion in Google Jobs and Bing search indexes
- Your company page gets unlocked
- Distribution via the newsletter, RSS, social channels, and AI services
You need a listing credit to publish a featured listing. One credit activates the listing for 30 days.
Company page
When you buy your first credit, WebExtJobs.dev unlocks a company page for you. This is a public page that lists all your open featured and free roles, displays your company logo, an about-company description, and your browser extensions with links to their store pages.
You can set your company description and other details in Dashboard → Settings → Public profile.
Logos are loaded automatically based on your website domain. If you prefer, you can provide a custom logo URL in your listing.
AI validation
WebExtJobs.dev is strictly for browser extension development roles. All listings — free and featured — go through automated niche validation. WebExtJobs.dev sends your listing title, description, and tags to AI providers (Anthropic or OpenAI) to check that the role genuinely relates to browser extension development and to extract relevant tags and metadata for search and SEO.
If your listing is too general or unrelated to this field, the validation will flag it and tell you what to adjust. You can create a listing (free or featured) before buying any credits to make sure it passes validation first.
Automated validation catches most off-topic listings, but if one slips through and is later found to be unrelated to browser extension development, I may remove it without refund.
Credits and pricing
You buy listing credits to publish and extend featured listings. Here's how they work:
- 1 credit = 30 days of featured listing visibility
- Credits are valid for 12 months from the purchase date — after that, they expire automatically
- When you have multiple credits, the oldest ones are used first
- Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
- You can buy credits individually or in bundles (1, 3, or 5 credits) — buy in advance and queue them for automatic listing renewal
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe
You can create and fully prepare your listing before buying any credits.
Founder pricing
Early supporters get a one-time discounted rate: €99 per credit instead of €199.
Founder pricing is available to the first 15 employers or until October 31, 2026 — whichever comes first. The founder rate applies to your first purchase only — up to 5 credits. After that, standard pricing applies.
Auto-renewal and credit queuing
If you have extra credits, you can queue them on a featured listing for automatic renewal. When the current credit's 30-day period ends, the next queued credit kicks in and extends the listing for another 30 days.
You can freely queue or unqueue credits at any time before they're consumed.
If you unpublish a listing that has an active credit, the 30-day timer for that credit keeps running — it doesn't pause. On the last day, if the listing is still unpublished, the renewal won't activate. Any queued credits will be unqueued and returned to your balance.
Featured listing expiry
Featured listings expire after 30 days. WebExtJobs.dev sends you a reminder email 7 days before. When a listing expires, it's automatically unpublished and no longer visible to candidates.
If the role is still open, you can extend it with another credit or set up auto-renewal from your dashboard.
Hiding and republishing
You can unpublish (hide) any listing at any time from your dashboard. If the listing has an active credit, the 30-day timer keeps running.
You can republish a hidden listing at any time. If its credit has expired, you'll need a new credit to go live again.
Listing distribution
By publishing a featured listing, you agree that WebExtJobs.dev may distribute it beyond the website to maximize visibility. This includes:
- The weekly email newsletter
- The public RSS feed
- Google Jobs, Bing, and other search engine indexes
- AI services and chat platforms
- Social media channels (Twitter/X, LinkedIn, etc.)
Your listing content (title, company name, location, description, etc.) is shared as-is. Publishing a listing counts as your consent — I won't notify you before each distribution. This is included in the featured listing price at no extra cost.
Free listings are distributed on the WebExtJobs.dev website, RSS feed (preview only — first 500 characters), and AI services. They may occasionally be included in the newsletter.
Listing content rules
You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of your listings. Every listing must:
- Be for a genuine open position related to browser extension development
- Not contain misleading salary info, fake company details, or discriminatory language
- Not promote illegal activities or violate employment laws
- Not use promotional strings in the title (e.g. "Apply now!", "Urgent hiring")
I reserve the right to remove any listing that breaks these rules, without refund. Listings may also be removed following reports from site visitors.
Your account
You register with a company or professional email address. Generic providers like Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo aren't accepted.
WebExtJobs.dev uses magic links for authentication — instead of a password, WebExtJobs.dev emails you a one-time sign-in link every time you log in. Click the link, and you're in. No passwords to remember or manage.
If your company has multiple people who need access (e.g. several HR team members), they can all be logged in at the same time on different devices. Each person must request their own magic link to the shared company email.
Account security
You're responsible for keeping your account secure — that includes your email address, any sign-in links you receive, and any devices where you have an active session. I'm not liable for unauthorized access caused by compromised email accounts, shared sign-in links, or unattended sessions.
Each company is entitled to one employer account. I reserve the right to consolidate or remove duplicate accounts without refund.
Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. This permanently removes all company data, credits, and listings.
Transaction records and invoices are kept for as long as required by tax and accounting regulations (up to 10 years under Slovenian law). After deletion, this data is anonymized — company details are stripped, but financial records are retained for legal compliance.
Inactive accounts with no purchases are automatically deleted after 6 months of inactivity.
Refund policy
All credit purchases are final. I don't issue refunds once payment is processed.
I specifically designed the system so you can create and preview your listing before spending anything — use this to confirm your role qualifies for this niche.
Service credits
If WebExtJobs.dev experiences extended downtime during your listing's active period that materially reduces its visibility, I'll offer a listing credit or time extension as compensation. This isn't a refund — it's a goodwill credit.
Service credits apply only to verified outages that affect listing visibility. They don't apply to:
- Scheduled maintenance (announced in advance)
- Brief interruptions under 4 hours
- Issues caused by third-party services (Stripe, Google, etc.)
- Traffic fluctuations due to seasonal or market conditions
To request a service credit, contact me with the affected listing and dates. I'll review the logs and respond within 5 business days.
Right of withdrawal
Featured listings are digital services performed immediately upon publication. Under Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), by completing your purchase and publishing a listing, you:
- Expressly consent to the immediate performance of the service
- Acknowledge that the service is fully performed once the listing is visible to candidates
- Waive the 14-day right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply
WebExtJobs.dev is a B2B service — you're acting in your professional capacity. This clause is an additional safeguard in case a purchase is made by someone acting as a consumer.
If you buy credits but haven't used them yet, the right of withdrawal may still apply. Contact me within 14 days of purchase to request a withdrawal for unused credits.
Data Use & Syndication
RSS feed and aggregation
WebExtJobs.dev provides a public RSS feed at /feed.xml for job aggregators, feed readers, and similar services. By consuming this feed, you agree to the following:
- Attribution with link back — every listing must include a visible, clickable hyperlink to the original listing page on WebExtJobs.dev (the canonical URL). A plain-text mention is not sufficient.
- Canonical URL — if your site uses
rel="canonical"or equivalent metadata, the canonical URL must point to the original listing on WebExtJobs.dev, not to your own copy. - No Google Jobs Index resubmission — you must not add
JobPostingstructured data (schema.org) for listings sourced from WebExtJobs.dev. The canonicalJobPostingmarkup is published by WebExtJobs.dev and must not be duplicated by third parties. - No modification — listing content (title, company name, description, location) must be reproduced faithfully. Do not alter, rewrite, or insert your own branding into the listing content.
- Apply link must point to the original — the apply action must link to the listing page on WebExtJobs.dev. Do not redirect candidates through your own apply flow or directly to the employer's site.
- No paywall or gating — do not place listings sourced from WebExtJobs.dev behind your own registration wall, paywall, or login requirement.
- Respect removal — if a listing disappears from the RSS feed (expired, unpublished, or removed), you must remove it from your site within 48 hours.
- No bulk archiving — the RSS feed is for current listings only, not for building a historical database of past listings.
If you don't follow these rules, I reserve the right to restrict your access to the feed.
AI and machine learning
WebExtJobs.dev listing data and site content must not be used to train machine learning or AI models without explicit written consent.
AI-powered tools that help job seekers in real time (e.g. career assistants, job recommendation engines) may use the data provided via /llms.txt and /llms-full.txt, provided they attribute WebExtJobs.dev and link back to the original listing.
Common Terms

The site design, branding, and original content belong to WebExtJobs.dev. Community listing data remains the property of its original sources and is displayed under the terms of their public APIs.
Limitation of liability
WebExtJobs.dev is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. I'm not liable for damages arising from your use of the site, reliance on job listing information, or interactions with employers or developers found through the site.
If something goes wrong, the most I owe you is the total amount you paid me in the 12 months before the issue arose.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Assignment
I reserve the right to assign this agreement, and any rights and obligations under it, to a successor entity — including in connection with a change in business structure, incorporation, or transfer of the WebExtJobs.dev business — without requiring separate consent from the customer, provided the successor assumes the same obligations under these Terms.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms at any time. If I make significant changes, I'll update the date at the top of this page and notify active employer accounts by email. Your continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
